Armed Robbery

The Sioux Falls Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred near the intersection of North Sherman Avenue and East Fourth Street at 8:20 p.m. on Friday, August 4, 2017. The suspects, who are currently unidentified, approached a Sioux Falls resident brandishing handguns and ordered the citizen to give them everything he had. The suspects took money, a cell phone, and wallet from the victim. The suspects then fled the area in a dark-colored four-door sedan traveling east on East Fourth Street.

The suspects were described as three African-American males ranging in age from 18 to 21 years of age with a slender to medium build. One of the suspects had a distinct hairstyle with the sides of his head shaved and blonde-colored tips of his hair.
