Street Construction – Ninth Street, Mari Car Drive, and Holbrook Avenue

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, sanitary sewer repairs will be performed on West Ninth Street between Mari Car Drive and Holbrook Avenue, Mari Car Drive between Ninth Street and Valley View Road, and Holbrook Avenue from Paradise Place to Bluebird Place.

These streets will remain open, through traffic will be limited to one lane at times, with no on street parking near the work zones.

Weather permitting this work is anticipated to be complete in five days.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction areas and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Construction - Tenth Street and 12th Street

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, May 1, 2017, sanitary sewer repairs will be performed at the intersection of East Tenth Street and East 12th Street. Work will include removal and replacement of the existing pavement, sanitary sewer spot repairs, and minor concrete curb and gutter repairs. Traffic control will be in place.

Eastbound traffic on Tenth Street will be reduced to one lane. Eastbound traffic on 12th Street will remain open, through traffic will be limited to one lane at times, with no on street parking near the work zones.

Drivers may use South Bahnson Avenue to reach East Tenth and East 12th Street. The bus route is expected to change in the area during construction.

36th Street Construction - between Walden Drive and Marion Road

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, sanitary sewer repairs will be performed on West 36th Street between Walden Drive and Marion Road. West 36th Street will remain open, through traffic will be limited to one lane at times, with no on street parking near the work zones.

Weather permitting the work is anticipated to be complete in five days.
