Release Your Inner Bard! Oak View Branch Presents Siouxland Shakespearience

“Better three hours too soon, than a minute too late.” That’s the advice of William Shakespeare.

With that in mind, those who are fans of The Bard would do well to be at Siouxland Libraries’ Oak View Branch no later than 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, for Siouxland Shakespearience and 90 minutes of fun. The Oak View Branch is located at 3700 East Third Street.

The event begins with a free performance by the acclaimed Bare Bodkins Theatre Company. Those who attend can also test their knowledge of the playwright’s work and invent insults in the style of the Bard (with an assist from library staff). Winners of both challenges will receive a prize.

Tea and cookies will be served, and there will be a drawing for a Shakespeare Action Figure.

Registration is required by calling 605-367-8060.

If an ADA accommodation is needed, please contact the Human Relations Office at 605 367 8745 or at least 72 hours before the event.
