Reading Bridge Summer Tutoring
Children can cross the bridge to better reading this summer at Siouxland Libraries. This free tutoring program is designed for struggling readers who have completed kindergarten through fifth grades.
Children can receive up to eight hours of reading instruction with trained reading tutors—one hour per day, twice a week, for four weeks. The program begins on July 10.
Registration is required and begins online on Friday, April 14, 2017.
Register at www.siouxlandlib.org/Kids/summer-tutoring or www.readingbridge.org for sessions at the Brandon, Caille, Downtown, Hartford, Oak View, Prairie West, and Ronning branches. For registration assistance, contact Siouxland Libraries at 367-8700.
Students from Garretson Elementary School; Harrisburg’s Freedom or Liberty Elementary Schools; and Sioux Falls’ Laura B. Anderson, Garfield, Terry Redlin, Lowell, and Hayward Elementary Schools can register onsite at their school.
Reading Bridge is funded by a grant from the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation.
If an ADA accommodation is needed, please contact the Human Relations Office at 367-8745 or email@example.com at least 72 hours before the event.
