Media Invited to Observe Smoke Layering Experiment

What:   Sioux Falls Fire Rescue will create smoke in a house and compare effects of having bedroom doors open versus closed. 
When:   Thursday, April 13, 2017

Where:   1707 South Eighth Avenue
Who:     Sioux Falls Fire Rescue
Why: This experiment will compare a person’s potential exposure to heat and toxic gases if you sleep with your bedroom door open or closed and you experience a fire in your home.
Visuals:   Cameras and gas detectors will be in each room to demonstrate the difference between two rooms.
