Board Vacancies— Falls Community Health Governing Board
Mayor Mike Huether has announced two vacancies to the Falls Community Health Governing Board.
The mission of the Board is to evaluate the activities of Falls Community Health, engage in strategic planning for immediate and long-term services provided to clients, and to ensure that it is operating in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
One of the vacancies is for a member of the community who may represent government, finance, legal affairs, labor relations, business, health care, managed care, or social services within the community. The other vacancy is for a patient currently being served by Falls Community Health. Patient representatives are required in the Board composition.
The Board is composed of 11 members that are appointed for a three-year term by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council.
The Board meets the third Thursday of every month from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at the Siouxland Health and Human Services building, 521 North Main Avenue.
