Siouxland Libraries is offering free summer tutoring for elementary age children who struggle with reading and writing skills. 

Our tutoring program is designed for students (including public, private, and home schooled) in and around the Sioux Falls area, who are entering 1st through 5th grades in Fall 2016. Participants are paired with trained reading tutors for one hour a day, twice a week, for four weeks.

Tutoring runs Monday, July 11, 2016, through Thursday, August 4. 

Mondays/Wednesdays
10-11 a.m.; 11 a.m.-12 p.m.; 12-1 p.m.

Downtown Library
Prairie West Library
Ronning Library
Brandon Community Library (10-11 a.m. & 11 a.m.-12 p.m. only)

Tuesdays/Thursdays,
10-11 a.m.; 11 a.m.-12 p.m.; 12-1 p.m.

Oak View Library

Tutoring sessions will also be available for students who attend Hayward, Laura B. Anderson, Terry Redlin, Lowell, Harrisburg Freedom, Harrisburg Liberty and Tea elementary schools, at their respective locations. Only students enrolled in one of these schools are eligible to attend tutoring sessions at that site. To register for those sessions, please contact your school. 

All sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
