Human Trafficking Awareness
The gripping documentary Chosen portrays two girls tricked into trafficking. Following the 20-minute film, a panel of experts will discuss human trafficking, its impact, and what can be done to fight it.

Sioux Code Talkers
Sioux Code Talkers used native dialects to aid the U.S. in World War II. Author Andrea Page introduces these heroes as she discusses her book, Sioux Code Talkers of World War II. Andrea is Standing Rock Sioux and great-niece of a code talker. She will sell and sign books following her presentation. For all ages.
Tuesday, August 1, 6:30-7:30 p.m. -- Downtown Library
Works by Sioux Falls watercolor artist Jim Heroux will be on display at the Downtown Library from July-August. Heroux has won several awards in the South Dakota Masterworks Competition, and his work was included in the South Dakota Governor's 6th Biennial Art Exhibition.
