Applications are currently being taken for the following positions:

Greet customers, sell season swim passes and daily admissions, provide excellent customer service and set the tone for every visitor. An enthusiastic and friendly demeanor to every visitor to Midco® Aquatic Center is desired.
Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency. Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services. Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service. Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility. Must be American Red Cross certified.
Not only do you have what it takes to be a Lifeguard (see above), but you are also a Lifeguard Leader. Responsibilities include overseeing, instructing, planning and assessing the personnel and executing lifeguard activities. Trains the newcomers and supervises the operations that are executed in a swimming pool. Executes other pool duties and roles as advised by the pool manager. Must be American Red Cross certified.
No matter what their age, people need to know about water, and you are just the person to teach them water safety, swimming, and other aquatic specialties. Help prevent pool emergencies before they start through educating patrons with direct instruction. American Red Cross certification required.
Pool managers will assist in enforcement of policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation of pool facility including personnel management and training, scheduling, and dealing directly with customers. Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service. This employee must have excellent organizational, communication, and public relation skills. Supervisory experience is preferred. This position requires weekend and holiday work.
Your certifications qualify you to immerse people of a variety of ages and fitness levels into the energetic world of water fitness through classes such as aqua Zumba, deep water aerobics, and circuit trainings. $9.25 per hour
Supervise open gym/game room program for school-age children and older. Plan and instruct various recreation activities for participants between 2:30–6:30 p.m., weekdays, when public school is in session. Must be 16 years and older and be able to lead with enthusiasm.
$9.25 per hour 
Is comfortable working alone, possesses excellent communication and customer service skills, and can lift 50 pounds. Enforces league and building rules.
$9.25 per hour 
Must be able to work both Saturdays and Sundays, enforces building rules, and maintains a professional appearance. Possesses excellent communication and customer service skills and can lift 50 pounds.
$20–$25 per hour 
Experienced and certified fitness instructors teach classes for a variety of ages and fitness levels. For more information, call 605-367-8222. Applications, references, and programming ideas must be submitted.
$10.00 per hour 
Enforce ice rink policies as provided. Maintain order and safety on the rinks as well as check ice conditions, identify hazards, check skates, and maintain PA system. Ability to document money transactions with accuracy. Excellent communication and customer service skills a must.
$30 per game 
Previous refereeing experience preferred. Ability to enforce league and building rules. Referees must provide shirt uniform and whistle. 
Performs maintenance duties related to the proper operation of municipal swimming pools. $13.50/HR.
