Library Support Staff Job Opportunities

Rate: $9.75 per hour

The City of Sioux Falls is accepting applications for part-time employees for Siouxland Libraries. This is a temporary, non-benefitted position involving 10-20 hours per week. Includes nights and weekend hours.

Applicants should have good computer and customer service skills, oral and written communication skills. The selected candidates will perform general library duties including checking materials in and out, collecting fines, issuing library cards and returning materials to shelves. Assist customers using public computers, online catalog, library databases and mobile devices and locating library materials. Answer incoming calls and refer customers for other appropriate assistance. Participate in opening and closing procedures. Provide assistance in coordinating and implementing library programs and events as required. EOE.
