Digital Content Specialist Job Opportunities

Rate: $14.00 - $17.00 hourly

The City of Sioux Falls Innovation & Technology Department is seeking a part-time or seasonal Digital Content Specialist. This is a non-benefitted position offering 25 to 40 hours per week. The Digital Content Specialist will be responsible for developing and deploying timely and appropriate web and social media content for the City. Expected duties include, but are not limited to, develop appropriate graphics for use on web and social media, provide reporting/analytics on social posts, maintain and update the City’s web content and formatting to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information and images, perform regular reviews of website pages to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of information. Qualified applicants should hold a degree in marketing, communications, multimedia, or a related degree, and have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a related field. Experience with Adobe products, Google Analytics, Microsoft SharePoint and Content Management Systems (CMS) is preferred. Applicants must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be detail oriented. EOE.
