Creative Specialist Job Opportunities

Rate: $15.00 - $18.00 hourly

The City of Sioux Falls Innovation & Technology Department is seeking a part-time or seasonal Creative Specialist. This is a non-benefitted position offering 25 to 40 hours per week. The Creative Specialist will be responsible for developing and producing appropriate graphic design solutions for City departments and programs. Expected duties include, but are not limited to, creating professional documents/designs using Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office products, and Adobe Acrobat; determining appropriate use of graphics and layout for a wide range of subject matter and varying department needs; proofreading; and operating printers, scanners, copiers and post-press tools. Qualified applicants should hold a degree in graphic design or a related degree, and have a minimum of two (2) years’ professional experience in graphic design or multimedia. Applicants should have knowledge of print shop and print production processes and equipment, graphic design, typography techniques and design trends. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. EOE.
