Sioux Falls Paratransit

Sioux Falls Transit's fixed route buses are accessible to people with disabilities. Each bus is equipped with a wheelchair lift or ramp along with two wheelchair securement locations. Sioux Falls Transit provides free individualized travel training to assist new passengers in learning how to ride these buses. Sioux Falls Paratransit is a curb-to-curb shared ride transportation service for persons who are, due to their functional limitation(s), unable to use accessible fixed route bus service.* Passengers must be certified eligible per guidelines established in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The Rider's Guide outlines the paratransit program and policies.

* Depending upon an individual's disability, the current weather conditions, and barriers at some locations, provisions will be made to get the passenger from a point of origin to destination.
