Community Services Division

The Community Services Division arguably has the most diverse grouping of job assignments and programs than any other division within the Police Department. Those assignments include, but are not necessarily limited to:

• School Resource Officer Program
• School Safety Officer
• ”I Can” program
• Crime Prevention
• Animal Control

All of these programs and assignments are supportive of the overall mission of the Sioux Falls Police Department in its partnership with the community.
