The Sioux Falls Police Department would like the public’s help finding the person responsible for the burglary of an occupied home during the afternoon of Sunday, September 6.
The incident occurred at about 5 p.m. near 33rd Street and South Holt Avenue or southeast of 26th Street and Cleveland Avenue.
The suspect was noticed in the home going through a purse. He was chased by the homeowner and last seen running northbound between houses. The suspect is described as a black male in his late teens or early twenties, thinner, about 6' 2" tall and 180 pounds, short hair, and wearing a brown shirt with white lettering, and blue shorts. A rosary and cash were taken.
