Title: Public Open Houses for Northeast Transportation Network Feasibility Study

The Engineering Division of Public Works will be hosting two public open houses to discuss the Northeast Transportation Network Feasibility Study.

Staff will be available at the open houses to discuss plans for future transportation projects for the area bounded by one-half mile north of Interstate 90 and East Arrowhead Parkway (in Sioux Falls) and Minnesota Avenue and SD Highway 11 (in Brandon).

The Northeast Transportation Study will develop a list of future transportation needs, identify concepts to address the transportation needs, analyze the feasibility of transportation concepts, and prepare a program schedule of transportation improvements for the northeast part of the city of Sioux Falls, including the Brandon area.

The first open house will be held on Tuesday, November 3, at the Brandon City Council Chambers, 308 Main Avenue, Brandon. The second open house will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at the Oak View Branch Library, 3700 East Third Street, Sioux Falls. Both open houses will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend these open houses, provide input, and discuss the study with project representatives. More information on the study can be found at http://www.siouxfalls.org/PublicWorks/special_projects/NE_transportation_network.

Upon request, accommodations for this meeting will be provided for persons with disabilities.
