The Sioux Falls Regional Sanitary Landfill fall/winter hours of operation go into effect November 2, 2009, and will last until March 13, 2010.

In conjunction with the end of daylight savings time, the hours of operation at the landfill will be 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The gates to the landfill will close to new traffic promptly at 4:30 p.m.

It is strongly encouraged that your waste be unloaded as soon as possible after 4:30 p.m. to allow staff adequate time for day-end procedures.
