The Sioux Falls Police Department would like the publics’ help finding those responsible for injuring a pedestrian and leaving the scene on May 6, 2009, at about 7:50 p.m.
The victim, an adult female, was jogging in the area of West 41st Street and Meadow Avenue when she was struck by a bluish-gray, four-door car. The car, possibly a Buick or other GM product with “1” county license plates, fled east on 41st Street, then north on Interstate 29.
The driver is described as a white male in his 20’s with a slender face. The victim was hospitalized with injuries to her leg, hip, and back.
