Join Mayor Munson for Sioux Falls’ annual July 4 Picnic and Parade.

Staging for the parade begins at 10:00 a.m. in the parking lot of Sioux Falls Transit at Sixth Street and Weber Avenue. Families are encouraged to decorate bikes or wagons and ride in the parade!

The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. and will travel west from Cherapa Place on Sixth Street and north on Phillips Avenue ending at Falls Park.

The picnic runs from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. with free barbequed sandwiches for the first 5,000 guests courtesy of the South Dakota Pork Producers and John Morrell.

Enjoy entertainment from Phil Baker and the Municipal Band along with games from the Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation department.

There will also be vehicle displays from Sioux Falls Fire Rescue, Sioux Falls Police and an official NASCAR.
