Beginning on Monday, July 6, 2009, at 10 p.m., work will begin on Louise Avenue between 41st Street and 49th Street. Night work is expected to continue for approximately two weeks. After each night closure, Louise Avenue will reopen at 7 a.m.

During the night closures, through traffic in the area will be detoured to Western Avenue via 41st Street and 49th Street. Back accesses to businesses on Louise Avenue and the Empire Mall should be utilized during construction. Work will include asphalt patching and overlay work.

The prime contractor for the project is Asphalt Surfacing Company, Inc. of Sioux Falls.
