The swearing-in ceremony for newly appointed City Council members will be held on Monday, May 19, 2008, at the Carnegie Town Hall, 235 West 10th Street, in the City Council Chambers at 11:00 a.m.

Mayor Dave Munson will preside over the proceedings. Circuit Court Judge Patricia C. Riepel will perform the ceremony for At-Large Council Member Vernon Brown. Circuit Court Judge Peter H. Lieberman will perform the ceremony for Northwest Council Member Robert Allen Litz, Northeast Council Member Kenneth N. Anderson Jr. and Southwest Council Member Greg Jamison.

The ceremony will be aired live on Channel 16 and may also be viewed online at www.siouxfalls.org.
