Beginning on Monday, July 14, 2008, a segment of the Phase 3 construction for the 30th Street and Covell Avenue Area “A” Storm Drainage Basin Project will begin. This portion of the project consists of constructing storm sewer, water main, and sanitary sewer improvements on 28th Street from Glendale Avenue to West Avenue and West Avenue from 28th Street to 26th Street. This construction is expected to last approximately six weeks. At that time, the next segment continuing north will begin.

The project is anticipated to be completed and open to traffic by October 3. During construction, motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.

The prime contractor for this project is Krueger Excavating of Sioux Falls, SD.
