The City of Sioux Falls in conjunction with the South Eastern Council of Governments (SECOG) is developing a coordinated transportation plan for older adults, individuals with low-incomes, and persons with disabilities to help
- identify their transportation needs;
- develop strategies to meet those needs; and
- increase the efficiency of their existing transportation services.
A public meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 3, at 5 p.m. in the Carnegie Town Hall located at 235 West Tenth Street. At the meeting, the public will be provided information and asked to comment on the proposed coordination strategies and the preliminary recommendations for the coordinated transportation plan.
Additional information on the coordinated transportation plan can be found on the City’s website at www.siouxfalls.org/transit under Current Studies. Please contact Debra Gaikowski at 367-8892 with any questions you may have. |
