The Sioux Falls Human Relations Commission is announcing the creation of the Commission’s Humanitarian Award and is seeking nominations.
Eligibility - Any person who has demonstrated support or service in promoting diversity in the community. Nominees should have ties to the community by living, working, or volunteering in Sioux Falls. The winning individual should embody the spirit of humanitarianism in Sioux Falls. The Commission is seeking nominees who work tirelessly and believe in equality and the welfare of others and have contributed to the growth and development of cultural diversity for all citizens in the community.
Nomination process - Nomination forms can be found on the Human Relations Commission website at www.siouxfalls.org/relations, or by contacting the office at 367 8745. The nomination should be limited to 500 words typed on plain paper; and to ensure anonymity, nominees’ names should only be used on the nomination form. The winner will be announced at the Humanitarian Award Dinner to be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2007.
