Outdoor Foggers

If a large area needs to be covered for a special event or for some lasting protection in a yard area is needed, products such as this may be considered.

Most of these products are intended to kill insects such as mosquitoes outdoors and many have varying degrees of residual activity in either killing or repelling mosquitoes from an area.

Areas that are sprayed with any type of wet insecticide generally require a drying period before humans can safely resume activity in the sprayed area. Any product that uses a water hose connected to the house to spray the product should have special precaution taken to disconnect the insecticide from the hose immediately when done. Clean water should then be run through the hose until the homeowner is certain that any product that may have been drawn back into the hose has been washed out and not pulled into the homes water supply or allowed to remain in the hose where contaminated water may be used unknowingly by others at a later time and present a dangerous health concern.
