- May 30- 31: Firefighter Combat Challenge at the Sioux Falls Arena, I will need help assisting participants and spectators Friday, May 30 from 2 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 31 from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
- June 7 - 8: Sioux Falls Renaissance Festival - help needed assisting spectators.
- June 7: Sanford Employee Appreciation Festival *
- June 18: Automania - help needed assisting spectators.
- June 21: Summer Jam - help needed assisting spectators.
- July 11 - 13: Hot Harley Nights - help needed assisting spectators.
- July 16: Hot Summer Nights - help needed assisting spectators.
- July 18 - 19: Jazz Fest - help needed assisting spectators.
- August 5 - 10: Sioux Empire Fair We usually assist at the Safety Village burn house.
- August 29 - 31: Life Light - help needed assisting spectators.

*June 7th Sanford Employee Appreciation Festival
I am in need of many members to provide medical aid and support during the June 7th Sanford Health System Employee Appreciation (Sanford Festival) day. Sanford has requested CERT as their exclusive medical support within Howard Wood Field during the June 7th evening 6pm-midnight Concert event. The concert features Aly & A.J., Rascal Flatts, and Cheryl Crow. Sanford is offering: a shirt (ID’ing you as medical support), a gift, food, and of course you get to see the show. This event is NOT open to the public.
I will need certified First Responders and CERT basic personnel to create team pairs. I have been requested to assemble a team of at least 30 personnel (15 teams). You will be asked to patrol a projected staff & family attendance of 30,000. Any medical occurrences should be responded to and evacuated to a medical first aid station (to be staffed by a provided Nurse) or if seriously ill or injured, to an awaiting ambulance being staffed at this event. Sanford is to provide radio communications.
June 4th will be the last day I can accept volunteer names to participate at Sanford Festival.
