Floodplain

Chapter 45 - Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance regulates and restricts uses and property in the floodplain by requiring that buildings be constructed to resist flood damage and to guide future development away from flood hazard areas. The City has participated in the National Flood Insurance Program as a regular member since 1979.
