    McKennan Park Centennial - McKennan Park is 100 years old this year and one the most beautiful and well used parks in the city. Parks and Recreation Coordinator Susie Garry talks about the history of the park and the plans for the celebration in August. Park Development Specialist Tory Miedema discusses all the improvements being done in the park this year and next. Leading Green - Leading Green is the City's initiative to focus on identifying current environmentally friendly practices, encouraging residents to participate in programs that are available to them and implementing new ways the City can Lead Green. Public Works Assistant Director Kevin Smith and Senior Planner Erica Beck show how the city and you can be "Leading Green". 4th of July Celebration - Public Health Manager Sandy Frentz heads up the City's annual 4th of July Celebration. This year's festivities include a parade, free lunch and picnic, music from the Municipal Band, inflatables and much, much more!

    Events Center Task Force - The City of Sioux Falls recently asked all Sioux Falls residents interested in helping us work on a new events center to apply for a task force, and were overwhelmed with the positive response. Co-chairmen Terry Baloun and Jim Woster talk about the newly formed Events Center Task Force. New Washington Pavilion CEO - Gary Woods was named the new Washington Pavilion CEO earlier this year. More than 85,000 people visited the Washington Pavilion and Kirby Science Center last year. 20,000 of whom were kids. Wood wants to make sure people realize the Pavilion has something to offer for everyone.
